HOTEL MANAGER
Mid City Motel
The successful applicant will have considerable experience in, but not limited to the following:
All Motel operations, All Food & Beverage Operations, Staff Management & Training, Stock Control Operations, Exceptional Customer Service & Communication Skills.
This role would suit a hands-on manager looking to work as part of a team in a great location.
Working in total partnership with our general managers, and Department Managers, the Manager will thrive on getting the best out of people and maximising commercial opportunities. Managing, driving the business, training and supporting your team will be at the forefront of the role. You will support your team in providing a professional hospitality experience across all facets of the venue, ensuring that the venue and company standards are maintained and that customer expectations are met.
Package:
- $80,000 - $90,000 + Super
Responsibilities
- Ensure the venue is managed with a motivated, trained team with the appropriate skills to exceed customers’ expectations.
- To be the face of the hotel, knowing the local clientele and the surrounding community.
- To deliver growth across the venue through innovative promotions and driving events
- Bring new and innovative ideas keeping up to date with trends.
- Overall management and accountability for forecasting/ budgeting and delivery.
- Maintain and develop supplier relationship.
- Excel and lead by example in the areas of operational excellence, financial performance, health and safety along with customer satisfaction.
- Required to be up to date and knowledgeable regarding advertising including social media.
- Opportunity for growth opportunities while General Managers are on leave.

This position also requires weekend and night work.

To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have Immaculate presentation, personal style and advanced communication skills
- Be adaptable to all tasks and enjoy a variety in your workload such as reception and concierge duties, financial reporting, cleaning and maintenance responsibilities.
- Previous experience with RoomMaster property management system is advantageous but not essential.
- Have excellent communication skills with the eagerness to learn and ability to think of innovative ideas that will assist in streamlining processes.
As the ‘face’ of the business, you are Customer focused, knowledgeable in the local area, a background in reservation management Systems in previous roles is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- -Perform general maintenance tasks
- -Keep the property and grounds clean and tidy by mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and sweeping walkways
